Creamed Spinach with Nutmeg
Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
2 cloves minced garlic
2 (8 ounce) bags of spinach
1/2 cup heavy cream
4 ounces of cream cheese, softened
1/2 teaspoon pink salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions:
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.
Add garlic and sauté about 1 minute.
Add spinach and sauté until wilted. You may need to do this in bunches.
Add heavy cream, cream cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Stir until smooth and heated through. Pour into a bowl and garnish with Parmesan cheese.
